SQU English Language, Translation Forum from today

MUSCAT: Sultan Qaboos University (SQU), represented by the English Language and Translation Group, will organise the third edition of the English Language and Translation Forum under the patronage of Dr Abdullah bin Mohammed al Futaisi, Adviser of the University.

The forum seeks to highlight the important issues of translation and English language.

It will also address different views for a number of specialists and scholars interested in this area.

The forum will contain a series of events including: The 13th translation seminar entitled “Bachelor’s Programmes in English and Translation in the Sultanate of Oman: Reality and Ambition”, a joint exhibition entitled “Language and the Brain,” workshops, the 3rd translation contest for institutions of higher education and the release of the second book International Stories by the students of the group.
