FRiENDi Mobile Summer Cup draw

MUSCAT: The draw for the FRiENDi mobile Summer Cricket Cup organized by Jazz Boys Cricket Club was held on 1st May at the Palm Restaurant hall in Al Khuwair. The guests of honor for the draw were Mr. Joseph Rajan, Marketing Operations Manager, FRiENDi mobile, and Vaishali Jesrani, Womens coordinator for Oman cricket. The tournament will be played among 16 teams who have registered early for the tournament. The Draw was witnessed by the managers and captains of the respective teams followed by a briefing from the sponsors.

With the IPL T-20 witnessing the battle of the best in the international cricket arena, Jazz Boys Cricket Club’s eagerly awaited tournament will showcase the best of the clubs in Oman contest for the FRiENDi mobile Summer Cup.

The tournament is mainly sponsored by FRiENDi mobile, Al Hajiry Group, Strabag Oman, Khurshid Trading, and The Body Shop. This is the 21st edition that Jazz Boys is conducting the highly popular tournament and the main sponsors FRiENDi mobile has announced very attractive prices for the winning teams, best performers and supporters as well. This highly anticipated event promises huge competition for the cricket lovers.

The first round matches on Friday, 5 may will feature, HCC vs Udupi Bulls (6.45 am), Zulmi Peshawar vs UMF (7.45 am), Cheers XI vs Mabela Stars (8.45 am), Masters XI vs Konkani Warriors (9.45 am), Tuluvers XI vs National Gas (10.45 am), Rangers CC vs Indian Warriors (1.15 pm), Prequarter 1 (2.15 pm), Pre-quarter 2 (3.15 pm).
