Omantel to meet Oman Oil’s telecom needs

Oman Oil Company (OOC), the government’s investment arm in the energy related sectors, and Omantel, the leading provider of integrated telecommun­ications services in the Sultanate, signed yesterday a collaborat­ion agreement under which Omantel will provide telecom solutions tailored to meet the business requiremen­ts of OOC Group of companies.

Commenting on the signing ceremony, Eng Isam bin Saud al Zadjali, CEO of OOC said, “Through this agreement, we aim to benefit from Omantel’s telecommun­ications solutions and to meet the growing demand for innovative and reliable solutions to facilitate the business needs and procedures of OOC Group of companies.”

Al Zadjali noted OOC always aspires to find systems and technology solutions that are in line with the global trends of smart digital applicatio­ns for business delivery.

Oman Oil Company manages more than 50 investment­s that cover many energy related sectors; 64 per cent of the total investment­s are in the Sultanate.
