Z-Corp participates in career fair for Omanis

MUSCAT: The Zubair Corporation (Z-Corp) and its group of companies are participating in the Career Fair that opened on Tuesday at the Sultan Qaboos Sports Complex.

The three-day career fair, provides a platform for graduates, job-seekers and recruiters from Oman to explore new opportunities and will continue till July 27.

It was inaugurated under the auspices of Salim bin Nasser Al Oufi, Under-Secretary of the Ministry of Manpower, the fair offers a range of employment opportunities for students, graduates and those looking for a change of job.

Many sectors from the Z-Corp group including automotive; energy and logistics; real estate and hospitality; engineering, construction and contracting; financial services and manufacturing are participating in the career fair.

Waleed al Yarubi, the Group Head — HR said, “Z-Corp is committed to support Oman government’s initiative to bring talented Omani employees into the workforce and provide them with training and career development opportunities. We have worked out a strategy to recruit and develop the skills of the Omani workforce and help them progress professionally.”

Adding that Z-Corp is delighted to participate in this career fair the spokesperson also added, “We are glad that the event provides an opportunity for Omani job-seekers to speak face-to-face with vast variety of potential employers. We are certain that a significant number of job opportunities will be offered by the different companies participating in the fair. The event provides an opportunity for prospective employers from a wide range of industries to meet with those interested in working for their companies.”
