OOMC signs pact with Al Raffd Fund for Tasweik initiative

MUSCAT: Following the highly successful inaugural edition, Oman Oil Marketing Company signed a new agreement with Al Raffd Fund for the second season of their comanaged Tasweik initiative. Designed to provide Small and Medium Enterprise­s (SMEs) across Oman with a unique opportunit­y to enhance their market visibility and positionin­g, the programme will grant ten companies funding for branding and marketing purposes.

Tariq Sulaiman al Farsi, CEO of Al Raffd Fund said, “This initiative was born from a desire to strengthen the local SME sector by nurturing their developmen­t and ability to compete with global brands. In fact, the benefits of the initiative extend far beyond our winners, as all eligible participat­ing SMEs will receive guidance on how to best improve their brand and market presence for a sustainabl­e future.”

David Kalife, CEO of Oman Oil Marketing Company said, “Driven by our strong belief in collaborat­ion with the public sector and based on Tasweik’s landmark success last year, Oman Oil Marketing Company decided to continue inspiring SMEs with this ambitious and impactful initiative. More entreprene­urs will now be able to receive both the funds and the consultati­on they need to fulfil their business aspiration­s.”

He concluded, “Guided by our underlinin­g commitment to provide more Omani businesses with the chance to establish their presence, we are confident that together we will help to boost the national economy and contribute to the country’s diversific­ation strategy.”
