MUSANNAH LADIES CLUB FOR HANDBALL TAKE SECOND PLACE

The ladies team of Al Musannah Club for handball took the second place against Sur women’s handball team in the women’s handball championsh­ip that was held on Friday at the Sports Complex in the Wilayat of Sur.

Women’s sport department at the Ministry of Sports Affairs organised the handball championsh­ip of ladies in Sur. The team of Al Musannah that took part in the championsh­ip was directed by the supervisor of the administra­tive team Iman al Hadhrami and the team trainer Shurouq al Buraiki and the trainer assistant Safa al Hadhrami, who was accompanie­d by the physiother­apist Sara al Hadhrami.

The active team players who participat­ed in the match are Khusoon al Saadi, Ikhlas al Yaarubi, Zamzam al Hadhrami, Wedad al Hinai, Amani al Amri, Nada al Saadi, Qoot Al Quloob al Quraini, Marwa al Hadhrami, Mariyam al Hinai and Hiyam al Buraiki who were led by captain Maryam al Hadhrami.

The team successful­ly achieved the highest rank in its first match over Al Nahdha Club obtaining seven goals verses a single goal. With great enthusiasm, the second match of the team resulted in scoring ten goals against eleven goals achieved by the team ‘Al Taleeah Club’ with a difference of one score only. The members of Musannah team were glad and motivated enough to excellentl­y continue the exceptiona­l work up. It is worth mentioning that the team shined up in one of the recent matches of the team with Salalah Club team, where Al Musannah team players excitingly wrapped up the match with an outstandin­g result that was 13 goals verses seven.
