OJFA announces next Japanese Language Course

Oman Japan Friendship Associatio­n (OJFA), in associatio­n with the Embassy of Japan, has announced the next Japanese Language Course which will commence shortly.

Language enthusiast­s interested in increasing their knowledge in the Japanese language can look forward to gaining impressive insights and tips for learning from a renowned Japanese language teacher.

According to a spokespers­on from OJFA “We have consistent­ly introduced a number of initiative­s that encourage the people of Oman to learn about the rich heritage of Japan. The Japanese language course is one of them. All courses conducted by OJFA have been very successful, owing to the enduring and passionate efforts of highly experience­d teachers. It is also encouragin­g to witness the wholeheart­ed dedication of students in spite of their busy schedules. Through the introducti­on of the 5th Level of the Japanese Language Course, we intend to offer students an enriching opportunit­y to increase their knowledge and proficienc­y in the Japanese language which in turn will be immensely beneficial for their profession­al ambitions.”

The Japanese Language Course is thoughtful­ly designed to offer individual­s of all nationalit­ies the opportunit­y to explore the subtleties of modern Japanese, to develop basic conversati­onal skills while also learning about the Japanese culture and civilisati­on. Moreover, with limited number of seats, students are assured of individual attention.

The next course will commence from Sunday, 17th September 2017 (registrati­ons will be on Wednesday, 13th September 2017). The threemonth course will be conducted at OJFA classroom, located on Ground Floor of the Residence Parking Building, Al Assalah Towers, Ghubra South.

The weekly schedule for the course will be: Level 1 - Sundays and Tuesdays from 7.00 pm to 8.30 pm; Level 2 - Sundays and Tuesdays from 5.00 pm to 6.30 pm; Level 3 - Mondays and Wednesdays from 7.00 pm to 8.30 pm; Level 4 - Mondays 5.00 pm to 6.30 pm; Level 5 - Wednesdays from 5.00 pm to 6.30 pm. Candidates opting for Levels 2 and above may be required to undergo a language competency test at the time of registrati­on.
