Seminar on harmful trade practices

MUSCAT: The Ministry of Commerce and Industry, in collaboration with the Public Establishment for Industrial Estates in Al Rusayl, will organise on September 25th at Knowledge Oasis Muscat a two-day seminar on Harmful Practices in International Trade. An expert from the World Trade Organization (WTO) in Geneva will explain in detail the WTO conventions on subsidy, dumping and the increase in imports as per the WTO conventions. The forum will also provide an opportunity for Omani factories to get insight about the measures related to filing complaints and how far the factories can protect their exports to the foreign markets. — ONA
