The head coach of the Oman Futsal Team will also be present at the tournament to scout for talented individual players — who have the chance to be added to his database, and potentially be selected for a try-out for the team.

The event marks the fifth in the series of Mazda Power of 5 Cup community football tournaments, with the first three events having already taken place in Muscat, and a fourth in Nizwa. Open to amateur clubs/players, the tournament gives local footballers a platform to perform and show their skills individually and as a team.
