The Oman Bride Show, which will showcase wedding and bridal services offered by more than 100 local and international players, will be held from January 24 to 27 as part of the Muscat Festival 2018.

At the launch ceremony on Tuesday, attended by top officials from the Muscat Municipality and other stakeholders, organisers said the event will draw global attention and contribute to the Sultanate’s efforts in becoming a top wedding destination.

To be held as part of the annual festival of culture, tradition, art and sports, the show is expected to offer A to Z solutions for weddings, including direct and indirect job opportunities.

The Muscat Festival will this year be held from January 18 to February 10 at Amerat Park and Naseem Gardens.

Naseem Park will offer tropical rainforest, paintball, consumer exhibition, fireworks, open theatre, children’s theatre, government and private pavilions, entertainment, and arts and skills corners.

Amerat Park will host a trade exhibition, electric games, fireworks heritage village, cultural activities corner and the Royal Oman Police Corner educating the public. Since its inception in 1998, the Muscat Festival has proved to be more than just a celebration.

It has been a window of myriad images of culture, tradition and art.

It is forum where civilisations come together, involving multilingual activities. It is a festival of colours visited by families and people from different ethnic backgrounds. a
