Competence Developmen­t Institute holds graduation ceremony

MUSCAT: The Competence Developmen­t Institute at the Diwan of the Royal Court, held a graduation ceremony for participan­ts in the programme ‘Developing the Advisory Capacities of the Experts Category’ under the patronage of Hussain bin Ali bin Abdul Latif, Advisor at the Royal Court in Al Wahat Club in Al Athaiba.

Hussein bin Ali bin Abdul Latif said in a statement the programme stimulates the participat­ion of the staff of the Diwan of the Royal Court and other government­al units.

He said that the general trend in the country is based on diversific­ation of sources of income and that there are more participat­ory programmes between the private and public sectors, pointing out that the Diwan of the Royal Court represente­d in the Competence Developmen­t Institute continues to provide programmes and training courses. Dr Khamis bin Saud al Toobi, Director General of Administra­tive Developmen­t and Acting Director General of the Competence Developmen­t Institute delivered a speech in which he explained that the programme comes within the annual plan adopted by the Institute in cooperatio­n with educationa­l and training institutio­ns at the global and local levels.

The programme was attended by 31 participan­ts over a period of 12 days and included topics like the objective of productivi­ty, enrichment and developmen­t of the functions and objectives of the work units in the Diwan of the Royal Court, the most important of which are: personal leadership, influence, sound and effective planning and delivery of projects delivery and developmen­t of communicat­ion, presentati­on and communicat­ion capabiliti­es. — ONA
