Oman, Saudi Arabia enjoy strong bilateral ties
MUSCAT: On behalf of His Majesty Sultan Qaboos, His Highness Sayyid Fahd bin Mahmood al Said, Deputy Prime Minister for the Council of Ministers, on Monday received Prince Abdulaziz bin Saud bin Nayef al Saud, Minister of Interior of Saudi Arabia.
During the meeting, Prince Abdulaziz conveyed greetings of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz al Saud of Saudi Arabia to His Majesty Sultan Qaboos, along with his and Crown Prince’s best wishes to His Majesty the Sultan, the government, and the Omani people further growth and prosperity.
After welcoming the guest and his accompanying delegation, HH Sayyid Fahd expressed the Sultanate’s satisfaction over the progress of the strong bilateral relations between the two brotherly countries, thanks to the care extended to these relations by the wise governments of both countries.
The Saudi minister expressed the deep fraternal and historic relations between the Sultanate and Saudi Arabia, and efforts of both sides to support them to serve the interests of the two brotherly peoples.
The conversations during the meeting dealt with means of promoting the existing cooperation, as well as reviewing a range of current issues at the regional and international arenas and the importance of continuous meetings between the brothers from both sides.
HH Sayyid Fahd asked Prince Abdulaziz to convey greetings of His Majesty the Sultan to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, along with His Majesty’s best wishes to the King of Saudi Arabia, the Crown Prince, and the Saudi brotherly people further progress and growth.
His Highness Sayyid Asaad bin Tareq al Said, Deputy Prime Minister for International Relations and Cooperation Affairs and Personal Representative of His Majesty the Sultan, received in his office on Monday Prince Abdulaziz bin Saud bin Nayef al Saud, Minister of Interior of Saudi Arabia.
The meeting reviewed the good bilateral relations between the two brotherly countries and the existing cooperation between them in various fields to serve the joint interests and achieve further aspirations for the Omani and Saudi brotherly peoples.
Gen Sultan bin Mohammed al Numani, Minister of the Royal Office, received in his office Prince Abdulaziz bin Saud bin Nayef al Saud and his delegation.
The two sides exchanged cordial conversations and discussed several topics of concern to the two brotherly countries.
