Al Dakhiliyah Municipalities Directorate hold awareness trips

Within the framework of its awareness plan for 2018, the Department of Awareness and Public Relations of Al Dakhiliyah Municipalities Directorate, represented by the Awareness and Information Department, has carried out a number of activities in the governorate.

These are aimed at conveying the awareness message and its objectives to various segments of society.

The Department organised field visits to Manah, Bahla and Nizwa, to introduce municipal and water works. They also distributed various awareness issues on water resources, health control, preventive health and illegal holdings and educational gifts for children.

It cooperates with Youth Izki Sports Team, Izki Municipality, and the Omani Environment Services Company to carry out an awareness and recreational activity in Izki Public Park.

The activity targeted the visitors of the park and educational centres. The event included a variety of activities such as educational and recreational competitions and games, and encouraging gifts.

As well as awareness sessions for youth and parents. the General Directorate of Regional Municipalities and Water Resources, represented by the Awareness and Public Relations Department, implemented its awareness plans through the establishment of a variety of activities and programmes.
