MUSCAT: Haya Water organised a visit to a number of undersecretaries for Al Ansab Lakes, which is one of the tourist, environmental and health attractions in the Governorate of Muscat because of its role in creating an attractive environment for large numbers of 300 species of residing and migratory birds, and which has lately attracted the attention of researchers and interested in birds from different countries of the world.

The aim of the visit was to introduce these lakes, which are scientifically classified under the category of wetlands and their complementary role to wastewater treatment.

The group aims to increase the number of passengers at the Sultanate’s airports from 16 million (2017) to 39 million by 2030.

The aviation sector aims to focus on the efforts of Oman Air towards attracting foreign tourists and helping Oman emerge as a world-class tourist destination by developing the main airports.

The sector will also improve the maritime air link of goods from the Sultanate’s ports.

Advanced aviation services will be enabled to meet customer services and facilitate the movement of goods more effectively through the construction of infrastructure in the civil aviation sector of logistics services in the Sultanate.

Plans are on to restructure Oman Air through a company’s strategic transformation programme, including revamping its business model.
