Only online tourist, express visas from March 21
A new regulation promulgated by the Ministry of Health allows Omani doctors working in public healthcare institutions to work part-time in private hospitals.
But they need some conditions.
Applicant should be an Omani specialising in one of the medical specialties specified by the ad hoc technical committee formed for the purpose.
Only senior consultant phys icians, c onsult a n t physicians and senior specialist physicians working for the government will be allowed to work in private hospitals.
They should obtain approval from the Minister of Health based on the recommendation of the technical committee.
