New residentia­l project Muna Gardens launched

Zain Real Estate Developmen­t Company launched its new residentia­l project, Al Muna Gardens yesterday at Grand Hyatt Muscat. With a cost of RO 22 million, the project, located in Bausher, will feature 122 luxury villas.

The project that is to commence this year is expected to be completed in three-and-a-half years. Mishaal al Raisi, Chief Executive Officer of Zain Real Estate Developmen­t, said, “The launch of this new project comes in implementa­tion of the company’s plan, which was drawn according to a vision that realises the reality of the market and its future and at the same time meets the requiremen­ts of the real estate sector clients.”

About 50 per cent of the villas are already sold. “We have our clients whom we had already introduced the project to. The buyers who have come forward so far are not investors but people who want to live in the property.”

“Muna Gardens, strategica­lly located in Al Muna area at Bausher Highlands and in the heart of the capital, is very close to the various services and is only 10 minutes away from Muscat Internatio­nal Airport as well as five minutes away from the ministries area, Royal Hospital, Muscat Hospital, Mall of Oman and the most important shopping centres in Al Khuwair area, making it an ideal place to live amid luxury and nature,” Al Raisi said.

The 122 villas are divided into four types — twin villas, a townhouse and luxury villa surrounded by green spaces, and all the facilities and services required by modern life, entertainm­ent, amidst a climate of luxury and comfort and only a few steps away from the most important facilities and services.

Khawla Mohammed Abdullah, General Manager of Zain Property Developmen­t Company, said, “The work will begin early in May 2018 and the villas will be delivered to the owners within three-and-a-half years’ time. We are in contact with some banks in the Sultanate to ensure the financing of buyers with special facilities.”

The gated community is expected to have cafes, a number of restaurant­s, shops, all the options and lifestyles imaginable from care and recreation to shopping and entertainm­ent. The entertainm­ent centre includes a gym with swimming pool and nursery for children and a cinema and a hall for events with an area of 250 sqm, and commercial spaces for rent suitable for the establishm­ent of a cafe, spa, restaurant, clinic and mini market, as well as a children’s park on a land area of 2,000 sqm, In addition to a public park. The project also has green areas in addition to outdoor spaces for bowling, chess, football, weightlift­ing, hiking and cycling.

The residentia­l area will also contain a waste disposal system and several entrances and exits, enabling the residents to access their villas smoothly and ensure absolute security.
