Omani couple dies in Georgia

An Omani couple died while on a visit to Georgia, said the Oman Embassy in Turkey.

The embassy said it has taken all measures, including finding out reasons that led to their death and repatriation procedures, in coordination with the Embassy of Qatar in Georgia.

Since the unfortunate incident coincided with the weekend, there was a delay in the ratification of documents, a part of the repatriation procedure, said the embassy.

Meanwhile on Sunday, the embassy in Ankara said all the procedures had been completed and the bodies are being flown back to the Sultanate via Flydubai flight number FZ-049.
