KR Group felicitates Muscat CT for hat-trick of runner-up titles in Premier Division league

MUSCAT: Continuing its policy of recognising and rewarding excellence on the field of play, Khimji Ramdas Group felicitated the Muscat Cricket Team for its excellent performance in the 20172018 Premier Division Cricket League organised by Oman Cricket.

Directors of Khimji Ramdas along with senior management rewarded the team and support staff with prizes including a bonus. Ayaan Khan, who was adjudged Player of the Year, received a special prize for his outstanding all-round performance throughout the season. His efforts with both bat and ball were noticed by one and all and contributed significantly to a number of victories for his team.

Muscat CT was once again the runner-up in the 50-over Premier Division league, completing a hat-trick of collecting runner-up trophies in the last three years. The team is captained by Vaibhav Wategaonkar and managed by Wilson Xavier Burboz.

Prominent among those present at the ceremony were Anil Khimji, Director KR Group and Madhu Jesrani, Secretary Oman Cricket.

One of the most experienced sides in the country, Muscat CT thrives on a professional setup that encourages players to work hard and perform at their optimum level. To its credit, the team has produced dozens of quality players, giving Oman National Team a number of star performers over the years, many of whom went on to serve the country as the team captains.
