Apple strudel with Baklava Ice Cream

250 gr fine grade flour 40 gr oil 2 gr salt 1 cl warm water 1 whole egg 1.5 kg apple (red) 100 gr sugar 50 gr cinnamon 100 gr butter (melt it) 100 gr bread crumbs 10 gr icing sugar 100 gr vanilla Ice cream 300 gr mixed Baklava sweets

ICE CREAM PREPARATIO­N

Start off with preparing the ice cream. It is in fact very simple, but incredibly good.

Allow the vanilla ice cream to get soft — not totally melted but soft and mixable.

Take the baklava and chop it with a knife or mixed it in a blender.

Combine the crushed Baklava with the ice cream. Mixed them properly and thoroughly. The ice cream should be just enough to bind all the baklava.

Place it back in the freezer, till ready to use.

DOUGH PREPARATIO­N

Place the flour on a working table and make a mould in the middle. Add the egg, half of the oil, salt, and water. Start slowly mixing from the middle and adding the flour to it step by step, till all are mixed together. Spread a bit more flour on the table and work the dough with hand on the table till nice and firm. Add the rest of the oil into a bowl and place the dough in it. Cover and allow to rest for approximat­ely one hour.

APPLE PREPARATIO­N

Peel the apples and remove the stem and seeds.

Cut the apple into small leaves and place into a bowl. Add the sugar and cinnamon to it.

Mix it thoroughly and get ready with the dough.

FINAL PREPARATIO­NS

Best here would be, to use a table cloth. Open the cloth and spread flour on it.

Take out the dough and place on the floured cloth.

Roll it out thinly and carefully while stretching it out with your hand (Try pulling from one corner to the other till it’s stretched thinly.)

Brush it with the melted butter everywhere.

Dust the dough crumbs thoroughly.

Place the apple mix on the lower side of the dough with the help of the cloth. Roll it into a sausage and place on to baking sheet with baking paper.

Brush all over again thoroughly with the melted butter and place into oven at 180 degrees for 40 minutes.

Once out of the oven, allow to cool down a bit, slice into portions, dust it with icing sugar and serve with the baklava ice cream. with bread
