Meethaq launches loyalty programme mobile app

MUSCAT: Meethaq, the pioneer of Islamic banking in Oman from Bank Muscat, has launched ‘Mukafat Meethaq’ a loyalty programme applicatio­n that makes the banking experience highly rewarding for customers. The new loyalty programme app from Meethaq is packed with the latest features that simplifies ‘24/7 anytime, anywhere’ Islamic banking service. The smart mobile app, which is quick and easy to download, provides a convenient 24/7 access to latest offers on the bank’s debit and credit cards.

The new app has a number of features such as viewing discount offers across various segments and locations of merchant outlets to avail the offers. The innovative app facilitate­s redemption of coupons at selected merchant outlets and notifies on new offers. The app helps customers to track their savings on discount offers, view the locations of Meethaq branches, ATMS and CDMS.

With the new app, Meethaq customers can earn points by spending towards shopping, dining and more using their bank cards. Notably, the ‘Mukafat Meethaq’ loyalty programme app works on all mobile phones and is customised for iphones, Android and Java based phones with simple icons and menus. The app is available in both English and Arabic. Downloadin­g and using the Mukafat Meethaq app is easy and instant as no separate registrati­on or filling of form is required for existing mobile banking customers of the bank. Customers can download the app from Android Playstore and istore.
