He added that the Prophet (PBUH) was keen on building youth where he built a generation of young people full of faith, determination, knowledge, work and a model of morals and virtues. He pointed out that among the blessings of life is the sense of safety and security.
He added: “If the sacred months are the title of safety, man is the centre of safety in all times. Civilisations never rise without man as he is the focus of development and its purpose and reform among people and bring people closer.
“Allah the Almighty says: And your Lord is not such as would wrongfully destroy human habitations while their inhabitants are righteous”.
He also said that any individual or nation seeking peace, reform and avoidance of strife has achieved faith in calling for all mercy.
He added that this is raised by supplication and good intentions following the example of the Prophet Abraham when he prayed to Allah, “My Lord, make this a city of Peace, and feed its people with fruits,” thus prioritising security to economy and linking security to the country in general and livelihood to the people of the country in particular in honour of the principle of dignity and selfraising and the appeal for mercy of Allah, including the purity of the hearts and purification of the souls of scarcity and fancy and upholding to ethics.”
At the end of the Khutba, Shaikh Dr Is’haq appealed to Allah the Almighty for the return of these happy days on His Majesty Sultan Qaboos for many years to come and to grant him good health, happiness and long life.
He also appealed to the Almighty to safeguard Oman and all Muslim countries and unify their word on good deeds.
After the Eid prayers, HH Sayyid Fahd received well-wishers.
They expressed their sincere and best wishes to His Majesty the Sultan, praying to the Almighty Allah to grant His Majesty good health, wellness, and long life.
HH Sayyid Fahd thanked all wellwishers, wishing them a blessed Eid and happy days, praying to Allah the Almighty for the return of this blessed occasion on His Majesty the Sultan with happiness and prosperity, and grant him permanent success in achieving further growth and progress for Oman and its citizens.
