Ooredoo goes beyond the textbook with more engagement on the Oman Digital Tutorial App

MUSCAT: Fostering a brighter future for Oman’s younger generation, Ooredoo’s sponsored Oman Digital Tutorial App has been met with great excitement from students both in the GCC and around the world. Developed in collaborat­ion with Muhammed & Ann Trading, it is the first comprehens­ive learning platform within the Sultanate. In the last two months alone, the app has seen more than 10,000 downloads across all platforms. It includes a long and extensive list of digital courses in both visual and audio lessons designed to support the growth of the community.

Raed Mohammed Dawood (pictured), Director of Government Relations and Corporate Affairs at Ooredoo, said, “Committed to the creation of sustainabl­e growth within the Sultanate, Ooredoo is continuous­ly finding new and innovative ways to invest in people. Education is vital in shaping the leaders of tomorrow and we are providing the community with a launching pad for their curiosity. Something for everyone and available for all ages, the easily accessible and free app will be instrument­al in furthering the spread of knowledge within the Sultanate.”

Encouragin­g students to learn more, the app has just added a number of new courses which include Java, mobile applicatio­ns, informatio­n security, cloud computing and IC3 global certificat­ion. Courses also include web design, HTML, programmin­g, English and IELTS exams, literacy curriculum­s, as well as grade level specific topics for those in grades 1-12.
