MUSCAT: The main branch of Al Hayki International, which is part of Omani-bahraini partnership, was inaugurated in the Governorate of Muscat on Tuesday to offer event management, hospitality services and wedding supplies.

Dr Juma bin Ahmed al Kaabi, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Bahrain to the Sultanate, said that there are several joint projects between the two countries.

He pointed out that the Bahraini Embassy is keen to strengthen economic, trade and social relations between the two countries.

He pointed out that a Bahraini trade delegation is currently visiting the Sultanate to meet with its Omani counterpart at the Oman Chamber of Commerce and Industry. The two sides will discuss the investment opportunities available in the two countries, as well as inviting the Omani side to hold conferences and exhibitions to promote Omani products in Bahrain.

He pointed out that the opening of the main branch of Al Hayki International in the Sultanate represents a pioneering model for investment between the two countries, expressing the hope that the rest of the entrepreneurs in the two countries will follow the example of this project.

Hassan bin Issa al Hayki, Chairman of Al Hayki International, said: “The opening of the company’s branch in the Sultanate comes in order to provide options suitable for Omani weddings, organising them and bringing them out with an unconventional vision and innovative ideas in line with contemporary developments.”

He pointed out that on the sidelines of the opening of the branch, a cooperation agreement was signed between Al Hayki International and Interactive Learning Technology Company to be an Omani-bahraini partnership specialised in organising conferences and events. He added that the company includes a number of Omani and Bahraini employees working together to provide customer services.

The opening ceremony was attended by Eid bin Mohammed al Thaqafi, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to the Sultanate and a gathering of media professionals, journalists, stakeholders and social media. — ONA
