Chairman of the State Council pays visit to Orpic
SUHAR: Oman Oil Refineries and Petroleum Industries Company (Orpic) received Dr Yahya bin Mahfoudh al Mantheri, Chairman of the State Council, along with 14 member of other representatives from the State Council in Suhar complex for a one day visit.
The visiting delegation was received by Ahmed bin Saleh al Jahdhami, Opric CEO to the Annual Performance Index Exhibition in which the guests were briefed on the overall business model of Orpic, its annual performance, growth plans, projects as well as Orpic’s contribution to the people and community.
The visit’s agenda also included a special tour to the Orpic’s main facilities such as the Integrated Control Room (ICR) which is considered the second largest control room in the Middle East and equipped with the latest technologies in the field of operation monitoring and processing. The delegation was also introduced to the updates of Liwa Plastics Industries Complex Project, one of the strategic growth projects in Orpic.
The delegation has paid a site visit to a number of Orpic’s social responsibility projects which are implemented by the company’s CSR investment arm; Jusoor. Aims to brief the visitors on the latest projects updates and progress, the visit includes Liwa Cultural Centre, Rehabilitation Centre, Al Batinah International School, Autism Centre, Child Discovery Centre and Falaj Park.
