Leading local and international brands to be featured at MIJEX
A plethora of both local and international brands are expected to showcase their designs and products at the 9th edition of the Muscat International Jewellery Exhibition (MIJEX), which will begin on December 11 at the Oman Convention and Exhibition Centre.
Organised jointly by Oman Convention and Exhibition Centre (OCEC) and VEGA Intertrade and Exhibition, the MIJEX has been growing from year to year attracting people from different continents.
The five-day long exhibition will host companies specialised in gold and jewellery and representatives of gold and jewellery agents from within and outside the Sultanate, capitalising on the recognition of Oman being a gateway to the gems and jewellery business to other neighbouring countries.

“For the last eight consecutive years, MIJEX has been well-received by both traders and buyers as the exhibition features a wide range of masterpiece jewellery from various leading brands and newcomers from many countries.
Likewise, the 9th Muscat International Jewellery Exhibition is the perfect destination for buyers to seek the most beautiful jewellery and for sellers to boost business as the event serves as an ideal platform for brands and potential buyers to meet under one roof.”
More than 25,000 visitors are expected to visit the premier global trade fair, which will continue for five days till December 15, and features a wide range of precious and authentic gemstones, spectacular pearls, attractive gold ornaments, and fabulous diamonds. Besides, jewellery machinery, materials, tools, equipment, and accessories will be showcased at the trade fair from a wide range of manufacturers and distributors from within the region and outside.
MIJEX will stimulate jewellery and gem exports from the Sultanate, besides reflecting the whole world the extraordinary dynamism and energy of the Muscat jewellery sector.
An important highlight of this year’s trade fair is an opportunity to win a fabulous diamond watch, which will be given to a lucky winner by Salem al Shueibi Jewellery through a raffle draw.
