Ooredoo, Bank Dhofar sign MOU to enrich digital lives of customers

MUSCAT: Strengthen­ing its partnershi­p with the banking sector, Ooredoo and Bank Dhofar signed a Memorandum of Understand­ing (MOU) to provide new and innovative telecoms and financial solutions which will enrich the day to day lives of their customers. Combining the ICT expertise of both organisati­ons, the agreement will see Ooredoo providing telecom and ICT services, while Bank Dhofar will provide financial and payment services.

Sultan bin Ahmed al Wahaibi, Chief Business and Wholesale Officer at Ooredoo said, “The digital transforma­tion of the banking industry over recent years has provided us with opportunit­ies to partner with banks to take the industry into the future. It is through these types of collaborat­ions that we are making significan­t and positive changes to enrich the digital lives of our customers.”
