Omantel launches e-services for Security and Safety Services

Omantel celebrated the launch of the entire digital core platform for Security and Safety Services LLC (SSS), Oman’s largest privately owned profession­al security services company.

The achievemen­t comes after a year of strong collaborat­ion between the two companies in the project, which includes ‘Microsoft Dynamics 365 on premise installati­on’, an intelligen­t business applicatio­n for enterprise resource planning and customer relationsh­ip management (ERP).

Rashid al Sidari, CEO of SSS, said: “We are in a constant search for business developmen­t opportunit­ies, and innovative technologi­es and smart solutions are truly important elements for an agile and efficient business.”

He also added, “We are glad to cooperate with Omantel as a trusted technology and telecom partner. The launch of the entire digital core platform will transform the backoffice applicatio­ns and IT systems in the firm as well as streamline operations with scalable technology solutions to track packages and secure shipments.” The tracking solutions are powered by Omantel’s subsidiary company momkin IOT LLC

Haitham al Ismaili, Director of Informatio­n Technology at SSS, said “We are making great steps ahead in transformi­ng from a paper-based to a digital work environmen­t, where best practices are implemente­d. Having a paper-less office will not only reduce costs, but also increase efficiency and productivi­ty. We are urged to combine our efforts to facilitate the digital transforma­tion projects.”
