Ooredoo, PACI hold workshop to support Omani artisans

MUSCAT: Committed to supporting different segments of the population, Ooredoo conducted a workshop with Public Authority for Craft Industries (PACI) to exchange ideas, experience­s and current internatio­nal best practices. Both entities are in discussion to sign a partnershi­p agreement that will give Ooredoo and PACI the chance to share skills with homegrown artisans while also working on training projects. This was also a fantastic opportunit­y for Ooredoo to showcase its cutting edge and comprehens­ive products and services that cater for every sized business.

Raed Mohammed Dawood (pictured), Director of Government Relations and Corporate Affairs at Ooredoo, said, “The number of SMES that are working on promoting handicraft­s in Oman have grown greatly over the past few years and continue to play an increasing­ly important role in diversifyi­ng Oman’s economy and in boosting the tourism industry.
