Online football development programmes for coaches
Oman Football Association (OFA) announced through their official twitter handle about conducting online coaching training programmes.
The Serbian Slobodan Pavkovic, the OFA technical Director, will be the trainer for these coaching training programmes for all the teams including the junior teams. All the courses will be online through the official OFA website.
The online coaching courses will assist many domestic coaches to receive different technical skills. The initiative which was raised by the OFA is part of delivering the technical training skills to the national coaches during these days which has seen the suspension of all the sports activities due to the recent COVID-19 coronavirus.
The Serbian Slobodan Pavkovic is a well-known personnel at the Youtube channel as he used to have many online training sessions in different e-learning platforms. He provided different sessions including the right technical coaching foundation to the junior players. Besides that, he has a series of videos on learning the cadet and hopes to learn the basics in football.
It is expected that, the 64-year-old Serbian will deliver a lot to Oman’s football especially at the junior teams. It is expected that a proper technical and strong foundation will be implemented for Oman’s football improvement.
Pavkovic had developed a lot for Singapore as he was the technical director in Football Association of Singapore. He had applied different systematic implementation of player development and coaching education programmes to improve the overall standard of play in Singapore.
Slobodan Pavkovic began his technical charge at the OFA technical department since last month. The Serbian technical experienced personnel in football has a wide experience as he was the former coach of Kuwait national team, the Serbia U-19 Team, as well as the top club in Egypt, Kuwait, Oman, Sweden and his native Serbia. The 64-year-old was the technical director at Football Association of Singapore.
