Khedmah launches mobile tap machines

THESE PORTABLE MACHINES WILL BE PLACED IN SELECTED AREAS ACROSS THE SULTANATE BASED ON CUSTOMERS’ NEEDS

MUSCAT: Seeking to expand its digital platforms and committed to diversify its unique services and expand its reach, Oman Investment & Finance Co (Khedmah), recently released Mobile Tap Machines. This will be their new addition to a wide array of digital payment methods.

These portable machines will be placed in selected areas across the Sultanate based on customers’ needs.

The new machines are easy to transfer from one place to another providing greater flexibilit­y to attend for customers’ needs in their suited areas. Through these machines, Khedmah can be present in various events and activities to serve its valued customers.

With the addition of the new machines, Khedmah network now boasts 68 branches and 56 kiosks across the Sultanate. Through these channels and other digital platforms such as the website and Khedmah mobile app, clients can easily pay their electricit­y, water and telecommun­ications bills, recharge phone and electricit­y prepaid meter.

The placement of these machine across the Sultanate is based on several factors, such as population density, changing competitio­n factors, and urban developmen­t. Over the past period, Khedmah’s branches and digital channels saw a strategic developmen­t in terms of expansion and new innovative services. These achievemen­ts came as a result of extensive studies conducted by the company on the locations of branches, market developmen­ts, and the level of customer satisfacti­on with the services delivered.

This allowed OIFC to acquire insights and determine what is desired by consumers, and thus provide tailor-made services to them that meet their aspiration­s.

Khedmah mobile app also seen a huge demand as the number of downloads surpassed half a million. This is due to its smart and easy solutions that saves time, efforts and money.
