Milano holds annual dealers’ meet for Oman

-

Milano, a brand born in Italy, wholly owned by the Danube Group known for the finest bath and home solutions across the middle-east, held its annual Dealers’ Meet for Oman on January 13, 2023 at the extravagant Grand Hyatt Hotel.

The event witnessed a turnout of more than 250 dealers. Among other things, Milano undoubtedly views its expanding dealer network as a crucial component of its business. This is demonstrated by the innovative programme the company launched, which involved flying their top-performing Middle Eastern dealers to luxurious vacation spots to celebrate their success while enjoying a break from work.

The brand’s initiative, which was introduced in 2017, has already given committed dealers a vacation to Switzerland in its first year and an Italian cruise in its second.

The highly anticipated and planned vacation to London had to be postponed in 2019 because to the pandemic, which had played spoilsport.

After a three-year break, the brand with its headquarters in Dubai resumed the programme in 2022, taking the traders to London and Georgia. The brand announced that it will be taking the dealers to Singapore on a captivating cruise in 2023.

The dealers did not want to miss the exclusive one-day discounts that were only available to event guests during the glitzy evening that was jam-packed with world-class entertainment and some of the best artists from around the world. The brand also provided strategic insights into its business, discussed its expectations for the future of the market with the dealers, and underlined its commitment to being at the forefront.

Another key highlight of the event was the formal announcement of Milano’s partnership with leading global bath solutions brand Ideal Standard.

Commenting on the brand’s presence in Oman, Anis Sajan, Vice-chairman of Danube group, said, “Oman is a key market for our brand and the current development projects by the government are leading to a growth in the construction and FM sector, giving us an opportunity to reach out to a wider target market.”

Sajan gave an insight into strategies adopted that led to the growth of Milano. “Our main aim is to cater to the customers’ needs and to fulfil that we ensure that we expand our product lines with the relevant products, to make Milano a one stop shop for all home improvement solutions.”

With its basket of high quality and affordable products, Milano has become a household name in the urban and suburban areas of Oman not only for sanitaryware but also doors, electrical and hardware products.

Not restricting its customer base to these areas, the brand is also reaching out to traders from the interiors like Ibri, Ibra, Duqm, Nizwa, Sinaw, Al Ashkhara, Izki, Jaalan Bani Bu Ali, Al Kamil, Sur, Qurayat, Shinas and Liwa.

As a part of brand strategy, Milano aims to achieve a higher growth in the year 2023. The brand also has been intensifying its efforts in research and development to launch new products in the future and also reach out to more customers worldwide.
