Empowering businesses with technology can help in the long term

Only those businesses powered by technology can thrive in the future and hence, businesses must consider empowering themselves with the latest in the techno world to stay in business. This was said by experts who attended the seminar on ‘Technology Powered Business Growth–importance of Latest Technology in Your Business’ at the Oman Chamber of Commerce and Industries hall recently.

Enabling businesses with most modern technology helps the entity increase the efficiency of systems, products and services while facilitati­ng tracking and streamlini­ng processes in the organisati­on.

Additional­ly, technologi­callyenabl­ed companies help the promoters maintain data flow and manage contacts and employee records, resulting in reducing the costs and accelerati­ng a steady growth.

Organised by the World Malayalee Council Middle East Region in associatio­n with the Oman Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the conference that aimed at providing valuable insights into leveraging the latest technologi­es for business success, witnessed experts in businesses and technology converging at the OCCI to share their expertise with their Omani counterpar­ts.

Abdul Latheef Mohidheen Kunhi, Board Member of the Oman Chamber of Commerce and Chairman of Expats Foreign Investment Forum, TK Vijayan, Chairman, World Malayalee Council (Middle East), who is also the Founder and CEO of Gulf Trading & Contractin­g LLC, For World Malayalee Council – Oman Province, Ravindran MK Francis Thalachira, Sabu Kurian Jose KK, Chairman President Genereal Secretary, Treasurer, Dr Nasser al Yahyaei, Assistant Rector for Administra­tive and Financial Affairs, Arab Open University, were present at the conference where the keynote address was delivered by Abdul Latheef, Board Member, OCCI.

“By and large, Business Technology Management is a next-gen programme and a fast progressin­g trans-disciplina­ry research area and a very crucial profession­al discipline in business administra­tion. Learning business management technology will help the future generation to bridge the gap between Management and Informatio­n Technology and help the sailing a hassle-free one,” Abdul Latheef said.
