Khimji Ramdas supports Heel’s mosque construction project
MUSCAT: The Khimji Ramdas (KR) Group continues to prioritise community development as part of its commitment to initiatives of social emphasis. Most recently, the company made a generous contribution towards the construction and completion of the Heel’s Jaama (mosque) at Heel Village in the wilayat of Sumail, says a press release.
Nailesh Khimji, director, Khimji Ramdas, said: “It has always been our priority to actively engage in any event that helps build sustainable communities. Over the years our strategy for social and community development has been effective in successfully establishing progressive and selfsustaining societies. This strategy includes areas of interior Oman of which Sumail is an important point of focus as part of our planned community projects for the year 2016.”
Idrees Al Jabri, Supervisor from Jaama Heel, said, “We are extremely grateful to the Khimji Ramdas Group for their warm and generous gesture towards the Jaama Heel construction project. By lending their support to our project, the Khimji Ramdas Group is not only aiding us financially but also showing great respect and appreciation for local customs and practices.”

Abdul Karim Al Jabri an official from the KR Group presented the cheque to officials from Jaama Heel. The project signifies remarkable progress on the part of KR Group to transform Sumail into self-reliant microcosm.
