Al Mouj concludes ‘Make A Difference’ campaign

MUSCAT: To promote the spirit of generosity, Al Mouj Muscat had teamed with Dar Al Atta’a charitable organisati­on in ‘Make A Difference’ campaign.

The initiative was aimed to set up donation boxes at different locations in the capital area to collect clothes, toys and books.

The collected items were delivered to Dar Al Atta’a and then handed over to the needy families by Al Mouj Muscat’s employees, says a press release.

Over 4,000 items have been collected from the donation boxes set up in The Walk, City Centre Muscat and City Centre Qurum and handed over to Dar Al Atta’a.

Al Mouj Muscat launched the initiative as part of its corporate social responsibi­lity (CSR) programmes and has been encouragin­g people to donate clothes, books and toys that are in usable and good condition.

Nasser bin Masoud Al Sheibani, acting CEO of Al Mouj Muscat said, “In line with our CSR vision, we are always seeking ways to make a difference in the lives of the needy people. We like to ascertain that our programmes serve as a catalyst to bring about a positive change in the society we live in. The impact of such initiative­s is far reaching and immensely benefits the people who receive help. We extend our profound thanks to residents and visitors of our community for their generous donations which will certainly make a difference to those families.”

May Al Bayat, Marketing Manag- er at Dar Al Atta’a said, “We thank Al Mouj Muscat for taking up this initiative. Our tie-up is a great example of how a charity organisati­on and corporate can work together to support and make a real difference in the lives of the needy families. We are touched by the spirit of giving displayed by people who have donated generously.”
