Healthcare packages for mothers, children at Burjeel Medical Centre
MUSCAT: Burjeel Medical Centre at Al Azaiba, one of the most premier and largest medical centres in Muscat, celebrates its 2nd anniversary during the month of September as ‘Mama and Baby month’.
The celebration is based on creating awareness on the importance of health of mothers and babies in the community.
The celebration will be inaugurated by Her Highness Sayyida Hujaija Jaifer Saif Al Said along with Balqees Alnadabi, chief of Social Committee of Omani Women’s Association and its members who are renowned names in women empowerment and health in the Sultanate of Oman, says a press release.
Mother and child health is very important and prevention is the best defence against all diseases which can affect children and mothers. Therefore, Burjeel Medical Centre is launching many preventive health and antenatal packages for expecting mothers and children. The health packages will cover the whole journey from the time of conception until delivery.

“This month is very important to us,” said Dr Deep Makkar, Centre Head – Burjeel Medical Centre in Al Azaiba, “So we decided to put the spotlight on mothers and their children, who are the most important members of society.”
In addition to the various discounted offerings, the centre has lined up lots of activities for children as well as mothers. Children can do face painting, balloon twisting, cartoon characters, and many more fun-loving activities. Mothers can have henna sessions with the henna artist.
