A’Soud Global School to open next week

MUSCAT: Residents in Oman now will have option to admit their their children in a new internatio­nal school which is set to open next week and will impart internatio­nal education to both Omani and expat students.

The A’Soud Global School in Seeb will follow the Early Years Foundation Stage and National Curriculum used in the United Kingdom, including Wales.

Initially, the school will cater to students from ages 3 to 12.

According to the chairman of the school Shailesh Dash, the school will provide quality education to students, along with extracurri­cular activities. He also mentioned that Oman needs more high-quality educationa­l institutes at affordable prices. “There is a need for high quality internatio­nal school in Oman, with better facilities and qualified teachers. “The market also requires more Internatio­nal baccalaure­ate (IB) schools.”
