Oman-Brunei joint energy committee to meet on Sunday

MUSCAT: The Oman-Brunei Joint Energy Committee will hold its second meeting on Sunday at Grand Hyatt Muscat Hotel under the theme “Enhancing Industrial Cooperation to Achieve Economic Growth and Development.”

The three-day meeting will begin with a welcome speech by Dr. Mohammed bin Hamad Al Rumhy, Minister of Oil and Gas, Head of the Omani side in the OmaniBrunei Joint Energy Committee, followed by an opening speech to be delivered by Minister of Energy and Industry in Brunei Prime Minister’s Office.

The first and third days of the meeting will include several work ing papers, where Dr. Anwar bin Suliman Al Kharousi, Adviser of the Minister of Oil and Gas for Investment Affairs, will patronise over a workshop on trade and partnership opportunities between the Omani and Bruneian business communities.
