Human rights annual report draft discussed

MUSCAT: Oman Human Rights Commission (OHRC) Office discussed in its meeting yesterday the first draft of the annual report on the Human Rights Conditions in the Sultanate 2016.

The draft includes the reports, monitoring, legislation, and the efforts of government institutions and community organisa- tions in the promotion and protection of human rights in the Sultanate during 2016.

The meeting also discussed awareness and education programmes by delivering lectures in higher education institutions, as well as other society organisations. The office also discussed work mechanism for 2017.
