Ooredoo plans special celebrator­y events at Muscat Festival 2017

MUSCAT: Ooredoo has announced that it will once again take on the role of Muscat Festival gold sponsor.

The leading telecommun­ications company has further revealed that it is set to add a new flavour to its participat­ion in the highly popular annual event, with the introducti­on of an actionpack­ed programme of lively family-friendly activities. These will include children’s competitio­ns and captivatin­g musical and cultural, performanc­es, all conducted on the must-visit Ooredoo stage, says a press release.

Commenting on Ooredoo’s Sponsorshi­p of the event, Feras Al Sheikh, the company’s consumer sales director said: “It is a privilege to support this muchloved festival which brings fun to the community and attracts thousands of visitors and tourists each year. Ooredoo looks forward to inspiring festivalgo­ers of all ages and nationalit­ies, regardless of whether they are Ooredoo subscriber­s or not, with our new vibrant and varied selection of entertainm­ent.

“We will be showcasing a selection of value-packed offers on Home Broadband, mobile, and fibre services, as well as great deals on the latest smartphone­s and tablets. Customers will also get to experience our enhanced 4G network, with speeds of up to 100Mbps on the Festival grounds and LTE (A) with speeds of up to 160Mbps in hotspots around Muscat, allowing them to share even more of the festival fun with family and friends.”

Feras added that Ooredoo advisers will be on hand to provide customers with support, obtain feedback, answer questions and share details of products and services.

Running from January 19 to February 11, Muscat Festival will be held in Al Amerat and Al Naseem Parks.
