Haya Water participat­es in Muscat Festival 2017

MUSCAT: Haya Water participat­ed in Muscat Festival 2017 through Mobile Educationa­l Unit in Al Amerat Park. This participat­ion is part of Haya Water’s activities and efforts to raise the level of environmen­tal and health awareness among citizens and residents and educate them about its services and strategic projects, says a press release.

Sulaiman bin Muslam Al Rawahi, general manager of Corporate Affairs stated: “Haya Water always seek to be present in such events because of the significan­ce role of Muscat Festival in promoting tourism and heritage attraction­s of the Sultanate. The festival also attracts a large number of visitors from various governorat­es and wilayats of the Sultanate to enjoy the various events of Muscat Festival.”

Al Rawahi added that Haya Water decided this year to add other events beside the mobile unit, which attracted a large number of visitors. The administra­tors of the mobile unit ensured to provide visitors full informatio­n supported by pictures and detailed explanatio­n about the phases of wastewater treatment.

The team also explained Haya Water’s role in connecting all governorat­es of the Sultanate, except Dhofar, to the wastewater networks and the ways of utilising this water in order to protect the environmen­t and preserve public health.

The mobile unit team also answered the visitors’ questions about different projects and products offered by Haya Water.
