MUSCAT: Bank Muscat, the flagship financial services provider in the Sultanate, in step with its ‘Let’s Do More’ vision and commitment to partnership in promoting Oman as a tourism and sporting destination, has extended support to Tour of Oman, which has attracted a star studded line-up of international cyclists for the eighth edition of the championship which concludes today.

In all previous editions, Bank Muscat extended strong support in making the Tour of Oman championship a great success. The bank aims to utilise the opportunity to fulfil its commitment to national initiatives, uniting citizens, residents and visitors in sharing the good times and discovering the joy of being connected, says a press release.

Bank Muscat attaches great importance to initiatives aimed at contributing to the country’s progress and development in all arenas, including sports. By en- couraging sporting activities, the bank seeks to set a fine example of promoting good health and healthy living, thereby motivating others to follow suit and provide the required support vital for developing a sporting nation.

The Tour of Oman has significantly grown in stature and the hosting of the international sporting event reflects the Sultanate’s remarkable organisational capabilities. In all 144 cyclists representing 18 teams from across the world are vying for top honours.
