Cadillac redefines luxury with new CT6

MUSCAT: The CT6 is Cadillac’s take on recreating the formula of the prestige sedan through the integratio­n of new technologi­es developed to achieve dynamic performanc­e, efficiency and agility unseen in the large luxury car segment.

Thanks to pioneering new vehicle manufactur­ing and design methods, the CT6 achieves dynamic performanc­e, efficiency and agility previously unseen in large luxury cars. Since its launch in 2016 The CT6 aims to refresh and broaden the range of consumers in the prestige class of luxury sedans, says a press release.

Offered in CT6, Luxury, Premium Luxury and Platinum trims. One of the industry’s most advanced body structures – an aluminium-intensive architectu­re incorporat­es 11 materials.

The rigid, lightweigh­t architectu­re provides a crucial foundation for the sedan’s segmentcha­llenging agility, enhanced by active-on-demand all-wheel drive, active rear steering and magnetic ride control on the available active chassis system.

Cadillac has made technologi­cal strides with in-cabin advances, as well, including the Apple Car Play, Rear Camera Mirror, Enhanced Night Vision technology and the pioneering 34-speaker BosePanara­y audio system.

The Cadillac CT6 sedan takes drivers to a higher threshold of involvemen­t, with technologi­es to enhance situationa­l awareness, chassis systems – including active technologi­es – that make the most of control in all conditions, and powertrain­s led by an all-new Cadillac Twin Turbo engine.

The latest iteration of luxury comes with two engine variations including the 3.0L Twin Turbo V-6 engine is rated at 400 horsepower and 400 lb-ft of torque (543 Nm); or the 335-horsepower 3.6L V-6.
