ISC Malayalam Wing all set to conclude its anniversary celebrations
MUSCAT: Indian Social Club Oman – Malayalam Wing is gearing up for the grand finale of their 20th anniversary celebrations on Saturday, March 4 at the Grand Millennium Hotel.
The 20th anniversary celebrations were phased out in 3 parts spread over a period of one year.
Dr Babu Paul IAS, will be the special guest at the 3rd phase of the celebrations. Indra Mani Pandey, Ambassador of India, will be the chief guest. Dr Sathish Nambiar, chairman, Indian Social Club Oman, shall attend the occasion beside distinguished guests from the business community, social organisations and the media, says a press release.
To commemorate its 20 years of community services, on this auspicious occasion, Malayalam Wing intends to extend a helping hand to Oman Cancer Association to strengthen its campaign to spread awareness about cancer.
The highlight of the event is that the famous playback singer and Hindustani vocalist, singer Manjari and her troupe from India will be presenting a live ghazal musical concert at the venue, which will be a unique experience for the music lovers of Muscat. Manjari had bagged Kerala State Film Award for best female singer twice. Further, Manjari is recipient of the prestigious Sahir & Adeeb Award for her contribution to Urdu literature and promoting the genre of ghazals. She is the youngest recipient of this honour.
“The entry for the programme is open to all and Malayalam Wing extends its invitation to all music lovers in Oman to come and enjoy the concert. The seating will be on a first come-first served basis,” said G. K. Karnavar, convener of the wing.
