World-class education

Smart companies know that they’re only as good as their workers, and will prioritise seeking out the best of the best for their organisations. Possessing a degree from a high quality university will always attract the attention of human resource managers and recruitment professionals. Omani students are fortunate to have access to British higher education, which is widely recognised as world class. The excellence of the teaching and research in British universities is acknowledged worldwide and thus a candidate with a degree from a UK higher education institution automatically secures an advantage over other candidates in the job market.

UK HEI’s foster independent thinking, promote development of analytical skills and support selfdiscipline. This gives graduates an edge when they are competing for a job as these are skills that are highly valued by employers. In addition, studying in English enables students to improve their language skills and allows them to function effectively in the global arena.

According to Kate Clarke, MD & Education adviser at Al Ahlam Higher Education Services, “Apart from having a remarkable higher education system, UK exposure helps international students to improve their English language skills and become familiar with western culture, giving them an entry to the increasing number of MNC’s that are investing in Oman. The UK welcomes students of all nationalities and promises them an unforgettable learning experience. For Omani students, UK education will open up numerous career opportunities through which they will shape the future of Oman.”
