Maisarah wins Best Islamic Bank Award
The accolade was announced at the EMEA Finance’s Achievement Awards 2016
MUSCAT: Reiterating its commitment to lead the Islamic finance market in the Sultanate, Maisarah Islamic Banking Services has been announced the winner of ‘Best Islamic Bank in Oman’ at the Middle East Banking Award (EMEA) Finance’s Achievement Awards 2016.
The event was held at the Conrad Hotel, Dubai and was attended by high profile delegates and invited guests.
The fast-growing financial services provider has been selected among Islamic finance institu- tions nationwide after achieving striking growth figures. Maisarah has also witnessed year-on-year remarkable capital, assets and profitability growth.

Despite the challenging market and economic conditions, Maisarah continued business growth and achieved outstanding financial results in 2016. Its total assets reached over OMR450 million and net profit of OMR3.2m.
As part of its plans to boost its presence nationwide, the Islamic window celebrated the inauguration of five new branches in 2016 alone, bringing the total number of Maisarah branches to 10 branches that are strategically located in major cities across Oman.
