Royal Army of Oman joint exercise in India concludes

NEW DELHI: Royal Army of Oman (RAO), represente­d by the Northern Frontier Regiment, concluded in the friendly Republic of India the joint exercise ‘Al Najah-2’ or (Success- 2).

The exercise was carried out with the forces of the army in the friendly Republic of India in order to raise efficiency and develop leadership and field skills and exchange of military expertise.

Training objectives

The joint exercise ‘Al Najah-2’, which lasted for 14 days, included the implementa­tion of procedures for joint military operations to achieve the planned training objectives.

Brigadier Salim bin Saif Al Hosani, Commander of the 23 Infantry Brigade, and a number of senior officers of RAO attended the closing activities of the exercise.

It is worth mentioning that the previous version of the joint exercise was held in Oman in the exercises area of RAO in Al Jabal Al Akhdhar in 2015.
