Hatat Polyclinic organises CPD programme

MUSCAT: Hatat Polyclinic affiliated to Medanta-The Medicity, Gurgaon, Delhi organised a CPD (Continue Professional Development) programme recently.

Five eminent experts from Medanta-The Medicity gave a talk about ‘Medicine Today & Tomorrow… The Next Step Forward’. Darwish bin Saif Al Moharbi, undersecretary, Administration & Financial Affairs, Ministry of Health was the chief guest, says a press release.

Dr Naresh Trehan – Diplomate American Board of Surgery & American Board of Cardiothoracic surgery, chairman & managing di- rector, Medanta – The Medicity presented talks on recent advances in cardiac sciences. Dr Narmada Gupta – Chairman Academic & Research Division Urology, Medanta & Urology Institute present- ed advances in Prostatic Diseases and Male Sexual Dysfunction. Dr Sudhir Dubey, director, Minimally Invasive Neurosurgery - Medanta Institute of Neurosciences presented differential diagnosis of various neurological symptoms & advanced treatment strategies.

Dr Shyam Bhansal, associate director and consultant Nephrologist Medanta Kidney and Urology Institute focused on chronic kidney disease, early detection and management and techniques to slow down the disease progression.

Dr Ashok Vaid, chairman and consultant oncologist Medanta Cancer Institute focused on cancer treatment with personalisation of cancer care, targeting cancer – new horizons, recent advancements in Bone Marrow Transplant & Stem Cell Therapy and immunotherapy in cancer.
