Bank Muscat presents Shababi monthly prizes

MUSCAT: Bank Muscat, the flagship financial services provider in the Sultanate, celebrated al Mazyona Shababi monthly prize draw at Arab Open University in Muscat.

Youth customers opening a Shababi account with just OMR10 get a chance to win OMR100 every month. In all, al Mazyona rewards 40 winners every month in the youth category. Shababi account holders are also eligible for other al Mazyona prizes by maintainin­g a minimum balance of OMR100.

Aimed at supporting the lifestyle of youth and encouragin­g a savings habit, Bank Muscat has redefined youth banking with the Shababi package targeted at the country’s students in the age group of 18 to 25 years pursuing college or university education. Shababi package is available for both Omani and expatriate youth studying in local or internatio­nal colleges in Oman, says a press release.

Bank Muscat offers unique products and services targeted at the youth segment. A notable product is Themaar higher education savings plan. The affordable and systematic monthly savings plan opens up a great opportunit­y for college or higher education requiremen­ts of youth.

Reaching out with a power- ful call for savings, the highlights of 2017 al Mazyona savings scheme include high value prizes for different segments, including women, children, youth and high saving customers, ranging from OMR1,000 weekly prizes to OMR10,000 monthly prizes, OMR25,000 quarterly prizes and OMR100,000 annual prizes.

For the second year in running, Oman’s flagship savings scheme has retained the prize money at OMR10 million. The 2017 al Mazyona savings scheme guaranteei­ng more for everyone to share is the biggest prize money in Oman and the region.

High savings customers of asalah Priority Banking have chances to win OMR30,000 monthly prizes, OMR100,000 quarterly prizes, and OMR250,000 year-end prizes. Prizes reserved for al Jawhar Privilege Banking customers include OMR20,000 monthly prizes and OMR50,000 quarterly prizes.

Notably, al Mazyona has launched an exciting salary transfer scheme to reward winners with a fixed salary prize of OMR500 every month for a year. This is the first time a savings prize scheme in Oman is offering a fixed salary prize every month for a year. For eligibilit­y, all that customers need to do is transfer their salary of OMR500 and above to the bank. In all, 15 customers are rewarded every month in the salary transfer scheme.
