ODP signs pact with OCCI and Haya Water

Oman Data Park (ODP) signed up, with Oman Chamber of Commerce and Industry (OCCI) and Haya Water to manage their IT needs, at Comex recently.
The agreement for Haya Water was signed by Hussain Hassan Ali AbdulHussain, CEO, Haya Water, while Engineer Redha Juma Al Saleh, Vice Chairman of OCCI signed the agreement on behalf of Oman Chamber of Commerce & Industry. For Oman Data Park, Maqbool Al Wahaibi, CEO signed the documents.
Backed by a highly skilled team with excellent technical knowhow, ODP has a wide-range of competencies to achieve, augment and support the IT and business practices of organisations both large and small. After a detailed requirement study and analysis, ODP will then strategically draw up the solutions for OCCI. OCCI provides a number of e-services through a manual process being operated through their various offices in Oman. ODP will endeavour to have all the proposed e-services online with a full support of scalable and secured technological environment which would be required to support OCCI’s future business needs. The e-services of the OCCI portal will be integrated with OCCI hardware which in turn will be interacting with different entities for user authentication. ODP’s aim is to provide more user friendly services to OCCI customers. Apart from the desktop version, the e-services are also targeted to be available as a Mobile Application in all mobiles platforms including iPhone, Android, and Windows.
For Haya Water, ODP will conduct yet another thorough require- ment study and analysis. ODP will endeavour to provide a highly scalable and cost effective solution to Haya with full provision of all the future technology required to support their upcoming and predicted business needs. After a careful analysis of requirement and site study by ODP on Haya’s current infrastructure, ODP recommends converged systems for IT Infrastructure, call for data center virtualisation and consolidation, storage consolidation to simplify data manageability and availability, best in-class data protection solution and disaster recovery solution with VMware SRM and storage replication.
