MHD to launch all-new Discovery on May 10

MUSCAT: Mohsin Haider Darwish, the exclusive retailer of premium automotive manufacturer Land Rover in the Sultanate of Oman, has just announced that the newest Discovery family model, the all-new Discovery will be launched at the Al Mouj Golf, 18th November Street on May 10.

All LR3/ LR4 customers as well as residents interested in the all new Discovery are requested to contact MHD’s Jaguar Land Rover showroom in Azaiba for more details on the launch event. All guests attending the launch event will be invited to take part in an exciting passenger experience on obstacle challenges, which will demonstrate the all-new Discovery’s all terrain capability like never before.

Commenting on the all-new Discovery launch event, David Aziz, CEO-Automotive Products, MHD said, “Since its global launch, the all-new Discovery has been highly anticipated by customers here in the Sultanate of Oman. We have accordingly arranged an obstacle course at the Al Mouj Golf course where for the first time the guests will be able to actually gauge the capabilities of this exciting new product during the launch event itself.”

The revolutionary design gives the all-new Discovery a dynamic appearance with sophisticated surfaces and precisely engineered details designed to resonate with customers on an emotional level. Land Rover’s design and engineering integrity ensures All-New Discovery is able to accommodate seven full-sized adults in an SUV body measuring less than five metres in length (4,970mm).

Jaguar Land Rover’s InControl Touch Pro infotainment system adds to the vehicles superior versatility. The intuitive set-up features a large 10-inch touchscreen positioned high on the centre console, enabling Land Rover’s designers to reduce the number of switches on the centre console by a third, delivering a clean and uncluttered appearance.

The all-new Discovery retains the renowned Land Rover all-terrain capability thanks to its combination of excellent off-road geometry and advanced technology, while improving its everyday usability. A comprehensive suite of off-road driving technologies ensures AllNew Discovery’s supreme all-terrain capability is easy to access for even inexperienced drivers.

On-road performance is enhanced by Land Rover’s proven lightweight and durable aluminium monocoque architecture, which contributes to a 480kg weight saving compared to steel ladder construction.
